Classification of a non-conformance provides the opportunity to define the severity of the non-conformance in different areas directly in the form. Use the risk analysis button if further risk assessment is needed.
Instructions
1. Go to the non-conformance overview and click the non-conformance to be classified.
2. Check the The non-conformance must be classified box.
3. Classify the consequences and click Save.
Potential or actual risk
It is possible to classify a non-conformance on the basis of the actual risk in the event of the non-conformance, or the potential risk. To classify the potential risk of a non-conformance, consequence sets must be selected for the non-conformance type.
Note: If you do not see Classification or Potential classification in the non-conformance form, the fields are hidden. Enable configuration mode to make the fields visible.
Risk assessments
It is possible to create a risk event in the risk module on the basis of a non-conformance.
