If you want to view what the users of the system have permissions to, the permissions for the groups are displayed on the control panel.

Instructions

1. Go to the control panel and click User Groups in the middle column.


2. Click the name of the user group for which you want to view the permissions.


 Key: Indicates that this is a permission group.
 Star: Indicates that this is a standard group. All new users are added to this group by default.
 Email: Indicates that this is a notification group.
 Bell: Indicates that this is an alarm group.

Info: Administrators, Department Users, Expanded department users, Extended users, Users and Observers are basic system groups. You can only be a member of one of these at a time.


3. Click the Permissions tab.


4. An overview of all the modules is displayed. Click the module for which you want to view the permissions.


5. The permissions of the module you selected is then displayed.

Info: You can set up your own permissions with own groups if you want a rights setup that is different to what the system groups allow.
